Nature of the outage
The platform experienced intermittent performance degradation, including increased latency across automations, workflows, and core modules. Users may have noticed slower load times, delayed executions, and occasional automation failures during this period.

Root cause
The issue was triggered by an unexpected spike in system activity caused by a workflow that repeatedly created tasks. This led to a temporary processing backlog, impacting overall system performance.

Resolution & next steps
We identified and disabled the affected workflow, stabilised system load, and cleared the backlog while ensuring data consistency. We are now implementing additional safeguards, improving monitoring, and reviewing impacted automations to prevent recurrence and enhance system resilience.
